Mechanical Engineer

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team designing mechanical systems from concept to production. The role combines design, prototyping, and real-world implementation, requiring close collaboration with experts in electronics, software, and system engineering.

Your Responsabilities

• Develop mechanical concepts based on project requirements and technical constraints
• Perform calculations and feasibility studies to support design decisions
• Design mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD tools
• Create detailed production drawings and technical documentation
• Collaborate with external suppliers and support manufacturing processes
• Participate in assembly, prototyping, and system validation activities
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and timeline objectives
• Contribute to continuous improvement of mechanical solutions and processes

What is expected from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Sciences
• Strong experience with 3D CAD tools, ideally Siemens NX
• Knowledge of prototyping techniques such as 3D printing is an asset
• Hands-on mindset with ability to support assembly and testing
• Understanding of mechanical systems and industrial environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Pragmatic approach balancing quality, deadlines, and constraints
• Fluency in Dutch and English
